Creating an Aircraft with External Operator

To use Requests for Quotes you will need at least one Aircraft with an External Operator attached.

There are two ways to add an External Operator to an Aircraft:

Method 1 - add External Operator when building new Aircraft

Method 2 - Attach an External Operator to existing Aircraft

Method 1 - add External Operator when building new Aircraft

You can create an Aircraft with an External Operator directly when you are building a new Aircraft. Watch below for steps to achieve this.

Method 2 - Attach an External Operator to existing Aircraft

Allow RFQ Toggle for External Aircraft

You can control whether Request For Quotes are created by default for each external aircraft in your fleet. This gives you fine-grained control over which aircraft should trigger RFQ workflows when included in quotes.

You may choose to disable automatic RFQ generation for external operator whose aircraft you frequently include in quotes, but you handle pricing updated directly with them rather than through RFQs.
